After quite a bit of traveling this summer, staying local definitely doesn’t mean being bored. I love exploring new places and taking trips, but there really is no place like home. Here are a few of the things that have kept smiles on our faces this week!
This sign from someone’s Bear Valley wedding may or may not be in our garage…
The Park City Farmers Market is in full swing!
She’s my little wildflower.
Herbs from our garden.
Farm-fresh salad with blackberries, feta cheese, and herbs.
This is John’s view every morning.
Her sent me this pic from one of his bike rides this week.
They’re a weed, but I think thistle is beautiful.
We beat the heat at Rockport Reservoir!
I had no idea that the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake was so amazing.
There were some odd birds there…
Look how cute I am! Drop some pancetta! I’ll clean it up!
Our lettuce is looking fabulous. Salad tonight!
John caught this shot of me ignoring the sunset to take a photo of a flower.
I saw the good part.
Cholula and I explored a new-to-us trail. #aspensfordays
We clearly need this dog house for Cholula.
The line for Red Butte Garden concerts gets REALLY hot. We brought a shade umbrella this time!
My parents are on a 2-week RV trip through the Pacific Northwest. The apple doesn’t fall far…
One year ago, Sarah and I were sharing a moment on the patio.
Two years ago, this was my view from the kitchen window.
Three years ago, John and I were exploring Philadelphia!
Four years ago, I was fishing on a boat at Haviland Lake with my folks.
And today, Cholula is following me around until I take her swimming.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
One year ago: I have a crush on Steve Martin.
