Beautiful piece! I too am in love with the trail. Have you ever noticed that everyone you meet on a trailhead is perpetually happy? Even when they’re not (like a hurt knee, out of breath)? You pegged it. True love.
I have noticed that! I always say that when strangers pass on the trail and say “hello”, it’s really code for “how lucky are we??”
