Parenthood is quite a serious adventure, people! It seems impossible that my (not so) little one is already three months old. It’s official: I no longer have a newborn, and that tugs at my heart a bit! Every day, Oden seems to be learning something new. Watching a child take in the world is super inspiring, though the days can stretch on forever. I have a newfound respect for single parents after tackling Babyland by myself for five days while John was on a business trip. My heroes! But I learned something important that every new mom needs to know. I can do this. There are so many adventures ahead for our little family, and that makes me smile. Here are some other things that had me grinning recently!
There are a lot of flowers in this post because it’s SPRING and they make me happy!
I smile every time Amanda calls! Here she is, circa 1986.
What’s up, guys? Tummy time is fun!
I found this swing on one of my walks with Oden.
My attempt to keep his clothes fitting my giant baby just a little longer…
Right after this, she rolled in something VERY DEAD.

Like father, like son.

GFD!
We went to a place call Ida Claire (cute name!!) last Friday that had a super yummy drink: the Oh, Bee-Have. It’s made with Honeysuckle vodka, honey, lemon, and bitters. It might have kinda kicked the ass of GFD a little… 🙂
I don’t know… the GFD is pretty amazing! That ginger!
You must come visit me. The only thing to do here is eat and drink, which luckily I enjoy. Here’s one place we will go: http://ida-claire.com/
I need to visit for sure!!
Your posts are so uplifting and I just wanted you to know how much they make me smile! Your handsome little man is absolutely adorable and it’s fun to follow your journey! I feel like you’re family! 😊 You also reminded me of all my loves…..little kiddos, good food and drink, beautiful flowers, great scenery and Mexico!! We are blessed!
What wonderful compliments, Lori! Thanks for reading. Ahhh, Mexico…! 🙂
Love these bits! I have the same throw pillow “let us lay in the sun…”!!! xoxo
I cannot believe how much the little dude is changing – busting out of his clothes and his facial expressions are priceless – ha! 🙂 Happy Weekend – Enjoy!
Too many great shots here! Tummy time, puppy pack (and eeee!) the blue buggy-wuggy. Oden looks just like DADDY. Chubby and beautiful (Oden, not Dad).
Mommyhood may not ever get easier, but it does get better, so, so, so better. Enjoy these easy times, Amber, as it clearly looks likes you are. Enjoy your holiday weekend!
ODEN IS GROWING SO MUCH. I CANT BELIEVE IT
