And just like that, 2015 is over! I enjoy taking time to look back through the year and remind myself of things I might have forgotten about. I love scrolling through the many, many photos from the past 12 months and laughing about certain events. Looking back triggers something in me to look ahead, and I know that 2016 is going to be a doozy. We have a new baby coming in 8 short weeks and, as first-time parents, will likely lose our minds for the remainder of the year. I have high hopes for countless unforgettable moments and realistic expectations of some serious struggles coming our way, but something in me knows it will be our best year yet.
I took a moment to look back over my “40’s 40” list of goals for 2015. Part of me wishes I’d accomplished more, but I feel proud and inspired about what I did check off of the list. These goal lists are simply suggestions toward a better me and a fun year, and they worked. Take a look at my updates by clicking here!
The new year brings with it an optimism for the upcoming 365 days. With our new lives as residents of Baby Town, I know that making a list with too many specific objectives is just unreasonable. Instead, I took a larger perspective and thought about some general goals for my life this year that would add to the health and happiness for myself and my growing family (with plenty of fun thrown in). You can find my 2016 aspirations by clicking here. (It will always be accessible at the top of the page, too!)
I’d love to hear some of your goals for 2016! What would you add to my list? #bringit2016
Happy New Year!
