It rained on Memorial Day, but summer has arrived with a bang in Park City this week. Welcome, June! This time of year, I’m so thankful to be in the mountains. Everything is lush and green and dotted with flowers, and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. Feet are often bare, food is always grilled, and life happens outside as much as possible. It feels easier now than other times to notice those bits of life that make it extra joyful; they seem to be all around me. Take a peek.
Heart root!
Always honing those power-napping skills.
Finally, some decent bagels in Utah!
How cute is my hair salon?
A curry feast at Good Karma.

I made lime syrup for cocktails.

I spent a rainy day unpacking and organizing some family heirlooms.
I spy Cholula!
John surprised me with a vintage copy of his favorite book.
I’d forgotten how lovely the road behind our neighborhood is.
Fuzzy caterpillars hatching!
She keeps tabs on the neighborhood while I sip and read on the porch.

My happiest hour. See Cholula hunting chipmunks?
We made killer smoked ribs! Stay tuned for the recipe.
My morning view.
One year ago, I was soaking in the Mexican sunshine.
Two years ago, we tried Hot Pot for the first time. Yum.
Three years ago, we were sipping cocktails on Nancy’s back porch in Bozeman.
Four years ago, I surprised Sarah at her bachelorette party in Vegas!
