I read something this morning: “Don’t let the silly little things steal your happiness.” It’s sort of a twist on the “don’t sweat the small stuff” concept, which is very wise advice. For me, those silly little things ARE my happiness. They add up, one by one, to a life that I love. Today, do yourself a favor and take inventory of the bits and pieces of joy around you. Here are some of mine!

Four years ago, I was getting freckles and eating shave ice on Kona. Swoon.
And today, Annette Funicello is speaking my language.
