Truth: It wasn’t the easiest week around here. But as I scroll through photos from the last seven days, there’s so much to be thankful for. Even something small can bring me joy. Here are some smiles from the week!
John and I try to go to Tsunami in Sugar House for sushi as often as we can. I love the Copacabana roll.
Kalia helped me harvest a tomato from the garden!
Early morning drive.
John cheering on a friend riding the Tour of Utah course.
Peek-a-boo zucchini blossom.
When I didn’t feel well, she laid on my tummy for hours.
Cooking in aprons!
Lamb burgers al fresco.
So cool to watch these climbers over the Olympic Park pool!
Did you see the hoisin honey lime shrimp skewers I made? Try them!
Typical morning scene. #bedhog
My friend Alison is eating lobster rolls on Cape Cod this week. YUM.
Happy patio garden! No strawberries, though.
Eerie morning fog.
One year ago, we drove my family two hours to a lake only to get stuck in a storm.
Two years ago, we were camping at Haviland Lake in Colorado!
Three years ago, we were outside of Big Fork, Montana in the middle of a massive Betty road trip. Heaven.
Four years ago, our garden harvest in Salt Lake City looked like this.
And today, we’re hoping for afternoon thunderstorms.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
One year ago: Gratitude, then and now.
