Would you believe me if I told you that it snowed this week? I tried my hardest to be thankful for the moisture, I really did. But as the trees begin to bud and early-season wildflowers brighten up my hikes, I’m overjoyed for each ray of sunshine and barefoot moment. We’re opening the patio this weekend (eee!) and plotting this year’s garden. We’re daydreaming about warm-weather vacations and Betty’s seasonal debut. The earth comes alive this time of year, and it’s hard not to follow suit. Here are some bits of joy from my week.
These flowers are my favorite. They are inexpensive, and last forever!
Bird-slash-chipmunk stalking.
Some lovely vintage finds from Emilie Jayne.
I should have purchased this print. I love the sentiment!
The world’s best all-natural/organic skin care line has a new look!
Truth.
Mama, I’m (sort of) sorry I ate all of the leftover chorizo pizza from the take-out box…
I love when the sky has many kinds of clouds.
It’s salad season! This taco salad with roasted sweet potatoes was awesome.
I spy SNOW.
He is totally her favorite.
John made me his spicy tofu soba noodle dish!
She gets what she wants because she looks like this.
Breakfast.
A moose, just off the trail! Time to turn around.
Best behavior.
Our chives survived the winter!
Did you see my post about mornings?
Trees are turning green.
Just a small nap. #ears
John showed me how he makes our favorite everyday dressing. Coming soon!
That’s what a doggie smile looks like.
One year ago, I was in Durango!
Two years ago, baby Cholula was untrustworthy when off-leash on a camping trip…
Three years ago, we were gardening at John’s house in Salt Lake.
And this morning, the view during my hike was perfect.
You know. Just the usual bliss.

I love that print, too. Too late to go back for it?
Probably not. I should pop in to see if it’s still there!
Loving your captures – Happy Bliss Day 🙂 I have never seen a moose in the wild. Our chives survived the winter months as well as the rosemary. Your pup is such a HOOT and a HAM!
I’d never seen one in the wild, either, but in the last year or two, I’ve seen many in our neighborhood. Crazy!
Too many photos here made me smile. Looking great from here! Cheers, Amber.
That’s the hope! I’m glad they made you smile. 🙂
I don’t know the name of those flowers but they do last forever!
Astromedia or something like that!
