It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!
For some reason, this week has felt very long. It’s been a good mixture of togetherness and solo time, of being busy and having time to fill. I’m extraordinarily nostalgic, due to my first wedding anniversary coming up. I’ve been recalling the chaotic bliss that filled each day this time last year…and feeling so grateful for every day since. Here are a few things that made me smile this week.
Birchbox deliveries are so much fun!
She prefers laying directly ON the pile of clean and folded laundry.
Sunset and its reflection.
Vanessa sent me this photo of something clearly scrumptious.
I overcame a kitchen fear… stay tuned for the recipe!
View from the porch.
Autumn + love.
Post-hike smiles.
Waiting impatiently for Daddy at the airport.
It’s been a vinyl kind of week.
John makes the BEST breakfasts.
Ridiculous.
Our garden’s tomato harvest ripened up beautifully wrapped in newspaper!
Romantic.
Found on a public bathroom wall.
I love Park City, but living in this Avenues condo sure was fun.
Deer stalking.
I count eight little white deer tushies.
Feeling lucky.
What a treat to have our home featured on A Beautiful Mess!
Bahn-mi.
SERIOUSLY.
Motorhome dreams.
I’d never charred tomatillos before. I’ll tell you about it soon!
I went into Barnes and Noble for one book…oops.
Cholula and I had the dog park to ourselves today.
This time last year, I had become a believer in acupuncture.
We were scrambling to tie up loose ends for our wedding!
Two years ago, we were fishing in the Yucatan (pre-hurricane evacuation).
John caught quite a few huge barracuda!
And today, a lucky ladybug gave me her love.
You know. Just the usual bliss.

Your pup is such a HOOT – ha! You have a bright ray of sunshine with you every day with your pup:) Happy Hump Day!
She definitely keeps us laughing. Little shmoop!
Sure looks nice. That sign HAD to be in the women’s restroom! And I’m glad your dog is silly! 🙂
Haha, it wasn’t on the men’s room door, that’s true!

BLISS…INDEED!!!!
Had to comment because earlier today I was telling a friend that this week felt really long to me and she said she felt the same. Also, I bought a butternut squash yesterday to make one of my favorite soups- potato peeler is the absolute best way to deal with the tough skin on those bad boys. I spent over an hour in Barnes and Noble Monday adding too many books to my Christmas wish list. The funniest thing is, this morning, I found a sweet little lady bug hanging out on my front door. Crazy how similar our week has been!
Down to the ladybug! I love it! xxx
Love the pics of your life. (and your dog)!!!
Thank you! She kind of rules the roost over here…
