It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!
And August is half over. A new, sweet friend (that I met because of this blog!) has a saying that I told her I was going to steal: BE HERE NOW, AMBER. I’ve been thinking a lot about the passing of time lately. Life flies by, whether you are happy or sad, bored or busy. It’s so important to enjoy the moment, whatever it holds! Here are a few of my moments from this week.
The summer skies have been inspiring lately!
My “office.” Usually, there are 17 more empty coffee cups on it.
Salad for lunch! Beets, celery, tomatoes and dill from the garden, arugula, feta, soy nuts.
Rainy day tea. I’ve been loving ginger-peach lately. What’s your favorite tea?
For those who said we’d never grow tomato plants in Park City…
We have to use TWO tennis balls at once to keep her content. She’s greedy.
Our recent house guests/dear friends sent us this lovely orchid!
I was reminded this week that it’s almost apple season!
“Welcome to town” muffins. Extra brown sugar.
I LOVE when she does this.
Hot weekend date night, newlywed style.
She’ll take the style section, please.
Best huevos on the planet!
I used up a (very) small amount of the wine corks we have lying around.
This photo isn’t edited. Crazy backyard light!
She digs through her toybox for JUST the right toy to share. Chicken drumstick!
Tacos made with rotisserie chicken are way better with homemade tortillas!
I made a wish on the top of a mountain.
A rainbow in the front yard. I need DIY projects using lavender– suggestions?
I am sure many perfect mountain weddings have happened here.
The sky opened up.
I made Italian stuffed chicken, wrapped in prosciutto! #happyhubby
My brother sent this photo he found on his phone of John singing to me at our reception.
I came across this shot of me from a rainy trip to Mexico I took with Sarah in 2010. We need a do-over!
Nearby wildfires make for warm afternoon light on the hillside behind our house.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
