So far, my annual wish for a long autumn seems to be coming true. There are some years when the heatwave seems to flip-flop into frost in the blink of an eye, but not this year. Aside from a welcome rain storm here and there, the sun is shining and the temperatures are perfect. It can’t believe we’re a week into October already…and that I’m almost halfway done with this pregnancy! EEK. When time seems to fly by, I find that it’s the best time to pause, take in my surroundings, and breathe a sigh of gratitude. Here are some recent happy moments!
Even decaf is acceptable when it’s this pretty.
Seafood is starting to sound good again! Grilled shrimp salad with cilantro-lime vinaigrette.
