Can you believe that May is half over? We’ve had a wet start to spring so far, with another storm rolling in as I type these words. The upside: GREEN. Everything is green. The world has come back to life after the hibernation of winter and it’s refreshing and beautiful. I breathe in the sense of renewal and hope (while looking forward to a dry weekend when I can get started on the garden!).
Here’s a handful of smiles from the week.
Mornings are my favorite time with this snuzzle-bug.
My coping mechanism for snow in May: slippers, long johns, and wine. Lots of wine.
The view from the rooftop jacuzzi at Snowbird Resort. Ahhhh!
How my parents celebrated Mother’s Day. They’ve got it figured out! #lifegoals
Moose prints almost as big as my shoe.
Current decor at The Love Tree.
Technicolor tulips!
It’s a good week for a cozy bowl of tomato soup. Try it!
BABY POTGUTS! There are six of them and they are three inches long.
Painting therapy. Creative outlets are so necessary!
Teeny blossoms in our front entryway.
Refusing to go to bed like a three-year old.
High school memories of Amanda’s first car!
This homemade chicken shawarma sandwich turned out to be delicious!
One year ago, I was exploring Red Butte Garden with my fancy camera.
Two years ago, I was admiring Engineer Peak in Durango with my folks.
Three years ago, I wanted to live on this bus in North Carolina. #donutsforever
Four years ago, it was garden time in Salt Lake City!
And this morning, Alison, Cholula, and I hit the trail (and beat the rain).
You know. Just the usual bliss.
