I haven’t been feeling so great this week. Some days, it has taken all of my energy just to get dressed, out of the house, and into the hills with Cholula, but fresh air always makes me feel better. The trail is my time to reflect on my life and, even on the rough days, I inevitably return to the trailhead feeling thankful. Here’s a handful of this week’s smiles!
She loves ski days with Papa! Can you blame her with this view?
How do you feel about fried ravioli? Because YES.
Apparently, this is what I look like when I’m eavesdropping on a table of 13-year old boys.
Sydney knows what’s up.
But Mama, I think I love asparagus frittata.
A serious closet purge happened this week. WHOA.
Thai chicken PIZZA coming at you this week!
On Earth Day, Cholula and I explored a new trail. We beat the rain!
The opposite of bliss: a shattered coffee pot. Hot Hubby made an early morning coffee shop run!
Teeny bits of joy.
I caught this fat-cheeked fella emptying the bird feeder.
One year ago, I was deep into Kauai withdrawals.
Two years ago, I made carnitas tacos (my most-searched recipe)!
Three years ago, Amanda and I had a seriously blissful spa day. And French fries. And wine.
Four years ago, Zamboni got a bunny for Easter!
And I started today with a quiet hike through some greening aspens.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
