This week didn’t end up looking like I thought it would. But, isn’t that always the case? The surprises and twists make life more interesting (hello, June snowstorm). When things don’t quite go the way I’d hoped, it’s a chance to seek out the things that I’m thankful for. Here’s what made me happy this week.
Cholula is always up for an adventure.
I busted out the new sander!
Perfect columbine.
My favorite part of this trail. Tree tunnel!
Protecting the family.
Apparently this happens EVERY week.
My hubby sends me photos like this from his walks with the dog.
I made banana chocolate chip muffins! My assistant is quite helpful.
Aspens.
Food rainbow!
I’m getting anxious to start our gardening season!
I made you some ice cream. Stay tuned.
Cholula, patrolling for rogue chipmunks.
I can’t wait to share these Thai chicken tacos with you…WOW.
John makes me pretty drinks.
In Park City, it snows in June sometimes. Sigh.
Shelter from the snow.
One year ago, we were at the USA/Guatemala World Cup qualifier game!
Two years ago, John and I were picnicking for an outdoor movie.
Three years ago, we were in Cayucos, mid-way through our first magical trip with Betty.
Four years ago, John tried to teach me to fly-fish.
And this is my view right now.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
One year ago: A perfect summer weekend.
