Bliss Bits 2/19/2014.

It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!

Currently, there are snowflakes blowing by my window; it will be gray and wet for the rest of the week around here. But, good news! SPRING officially begins in 28 short days. This time of year, I almost salivate at the anticipation of those first blades of new green grass, those first crocus blossoms poking up through the wet soil, those colorful springtime mornings that grow warmer by the day. I just love having something to look forward to- don’t you?

Here’s a handful of things that have kept me smiling this week!

    1. It will! I think the show will air in the next couple of months- I might even have a cameo with John!
As for the jam, I literally dump the 2ish cups of berries (any berries) into a sauce pan, add half a cup of sugar and the juice of half a lemon, and let it simmer for 20 minutes or so. I smoosh the berries along the way. John really loves this batch- I drizzled a few drops of balsamic reduction in it at the end.
