It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!

Ready or not, the holidays are creeping. I’m not going to count the dwindling weeks until Christmas- I’m just not. Instead, I’m going to attempt to squelch the control freak side of me that wants to plan everything and savor the season. The festive decor. The heavenly aromas of holiday baking and special occasion meals. More time than usual with beloved friends and family. Twinkling lights and turkey sammies. Nostalgia for holidays past and hope for the future. We’re not there yet… but I’m ready. The small things hold more significance for me this time of year, holiday-related or not. Take a peek at what made me smile this week!

One year ago, I was laughing uncontrollably in the back of a truck in Tahiti.

Also, there was this. 

Two years ago, we had about the same amount of snow as we do now. 

Three years ago, I joined John on a day of hunting chukar.

And this was the sky this morning. 

You know. Just the usual bliss.
