I’ve got a big smile on my face right now.
Last week, the lovely Rian from Truth and Cake hosted another round of “Freshly Press Yourself.” For those of you who don’t know, WordPress selects a handful of blogs to feature daily on their main page. It’s a huge honor to be Freshly Pressed and means a TON of exposure for the highlighted blogs. I think most young bloggers will agree that it’s a (not so) secret dream to have the “Freshly Pressed” distinction. Truth and Cake has been FP-recognized multiple times, and Rian came up with a clever pay it forward idea- I mentioned it here.
I’m humbled that she selected my post called “Tell me a story.” to be featured as one of three “Pressable” posts. What was a very difficult topic to write about and share publicly seemed to speak to quite a few people. That makes me happy. Take a peek!
I’m knee-deep in cranberry madness today, spending time in my kitchen and writing Christmas cards. It was a good day already- and now it’s fabulous.
Maybe happy hour will just have to include a special celebratory cocktail today… hint, hint!
