Unbelievably, Oden is 10 weeks old already. We’ve all heard people say, “It just goes by so fast…” and now I realize that it’s true. I feel like I live in a constant time warp! I’m simultaneously sad to think of the sweet newborn phases that have past and excited to see Oden conquering milestone after milestone. Smiling! Cooing! Finding his fist and putting it into his mouth! The small stuff is monumental for him, and we celebrate each tiny accomplishment with giggles and kisses and encouragement. There’s nothing like spending your days with a developing infant that makes you really appreciate the little things. It also reiterates the fact that time is precious. Hop off of the “I’m so busy” treadmill for a few minutes and look around at all of the beautiful things. Life is a gift. (PS. Dear Time, Please chill out.)
