When I looked at the calendar this morning, I felt a bit like I’ve hopped on the big slide that leads straight into the holidays. Each day it feels steeper which means I’m sliding faster! Where is the time going? How is Thanksgiving Day only 18 days away? And can I secretly play Christmas oldies yet? This year, with the to-do list extra long thanks to Baby Howe, I’m determined to slow down and enjoy the season. Stress helps nothing and detracts from the wonder of the holidays (or any day, really). Many people use November as a time to be intentionally grateful, but that’s what these Bliss Bits posts are about, all year long. Find the sunny side of every situation and smile…and maybe sing along to Bing Crosby’s White Christmas.
