Well, I’m ready for the rain to stop. It’s not all day, every day, but it’s a lot. I’m itching to eat outside and get dirty in the garden and start the warm weather season. It’s Memorial Day weekend, after all! Until we get more sun than rain, I’ll tell myself that the wildflowers will be extra vibrant this year. They’ve already begun. Here are more things that are keeping me smiling lately!

I love when the yard comes alive.
Veggie risotto in the works.
I only iron when… actually, I never iron. #stopraining
New truck! NEW TRUCK! It barely fits in the garage.
Rainy day baking! Peanut butter and chocolate chip.
I spy crooked ears and blue sky.
Our neighborhood is full of these fuchsia trees!
The official batch of Howie’s Habie hot sauce. It’s SO HOT.
Shrimp tacos with pineapple salsa! I might be dreaming of summer.
A flower photo from Amanda.
Storm #438 is rolling in…
All over the trails!

I’ll be sharing this tomato-chile breakfast hash recipe soon. Put an egg on it!
Just some of our summer concert line-up. It’s the summer of music!
Muddy paws, happy dog.

Three years ago, I was having too much fun at the museum in Fort Bragg.
Four years ago, we BBQ’d chicken for a crew before seeing U2 in concert!
And this is happening RIGHT NOW.
