Maybe I don’t give February a chance.
It’s such a short month, and I’m already anticipating the next glorious, end-of-winter season, prompted by March-ish words like “sunshine” and “spring break.” February feels a little like a month to just get through. Poor February. Maybe this year, I’ll make a concerted effort to enjoy and appreciate the quiet and the cold and the calm that this little month has to offer. Spring will come soon enough.
Here are a few things that have kept me smiling this week!
Big blue sky.
Hurry up, Mama!
I had a Bloody Mary at dinnertime!
My brother and I were at odds for Super Bowl. (I love winning.)
I made a yummy vegan butternut squash/two-bean chili! Coming soon.
My favorite cutting board.
How we ALL felt the day after our Super Bowl party.

Peek-a-boo moose, also known as “time to turn around.”
Tuesday mornings mean Art Club with a few ladies! #crafty
I saw this at Staples near the file folders. Huh?

Leftover Christmas joy on a trail.
How I ended my day yesterday.
One year ago, I found love on the trail.
Two years ago, it was a family day at Snowbird with John’s brother and nephew.
Three years ago, baby Cholula’s ears weren’t sure what to do yet.
Four years ago, Zamboni and I were taking in the view of Salt Lake City.
And this is what I’m doing today.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
Your “bliss bit” photos always put a smile on my face. ALWAYS.
Me, too! xxx
