Not every day is good. Some days, finding the “bright side” is close to impossible. I had days like that this week. I wasn’t feeling well and I held many one-person pity parties. It’s on these days that I can feel the difference when I notice something good; it makes me want to find more good things around me. There are always reasons to smile, even on the worst days. Here are a handful of happy moments from this week!
I found some photos from the summer, still on my fancy camera.
This year’s surprise sunflower! Last year, it was near the garden.
Super hot Saturday night date.
Accidental extreme close-up.
I spent many hours here this week.
But I had company.
I made you zesty Parmesan zucchini fries! Stay tuned.
Our garden is feeding us well these days.
Through the great room’s windows.
Things I find in the covers.
Did you see the wild mushroom pasta/pizza extravaganza? Delish.
We made pizza panini with marinara, ricotta, mozzarella, basil, roasted garlic, pepperoni, spinach, and jalapeño. Brilliant!
Autumn-appropriate check-out line.
Harvest crustless quiche with zukes, garden squash, and prosciutto.
My husband loves me.
One year ago, I was making camp chili in Betty! #happygirl
Two years ago, I was reminded that Colorado wins at fall.
Three years ago, I was sipping giant margaritas with my sister.
And this morning’s farmers market was gorgeous.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
