It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!
Admittedly, yesterday was a bit of a bummer day for me. Amanda’s presence filled our home and it’s too quiet without our constant giggling. We all have down days, and I believe it’s important to allow those feelings to have their moment. But today, as I type, some long-overdue snowflakes are starting to fall outside and I’m feeling grateful– for snow, for slippers, for hot coffee, for a snuggling dog, for dear friends. Peeling through a week’s worth of photos to find bits of joy will raise anyone’s spirits- TRY IT. See what made me smile this week…
This little love bear is named Louie. He’s five months old and John met him on a ski tour.
Creeper.
Yay for lots of snow in the forecast. This is NOT what January should look like!
Amanda loved her welcome basket! The slippers are excellent for moonwalking.
Sledding was a highlight of her visit!
She woke up and caught this sunrise on her last day in Utah. Swoon.
I am thankful every day for this handsome mountain man.
Needy beast.
She’s hiding behind the ball!
My bird feeder has been the hottest spot in town lately.
Healthy dinner: baked Mahi-Mahi, asparagus, and Nancy’s Barley-Pea Salad.
Is this normal?
My view during yesterday’s hike. I explored a new trail!
Hoof print.
Glorious big blue sky.
Grilled veggie and chicken burrito filling! Yum.
This candle looks like a wave. I’m craving the ocean.
Last year, we had deeper snow.
Two years ago, John sent me this photo from the top of a peak…
And mini-Cholula weighed 30 pounds less than she does now!
Three years ago, John’s brother was here skiing pow-pow at Snowbird.
And this was my Superdog this morning.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
One year ago: I resolved to enjoy the moment and made awesome mushroom stew.

Are you sure Louie is a dog and not a bear cub – what a cutie pie?!? Plus your pup is always entertaining – ha! Happy Bliss Day:)
How CUTE is Louie? He’s so big but just a baby!
What dog breed is Louie? Be a BIG Dog for sure!
That Louie dog….. my heart melts. On the other hand, hooray for snow! It’s falling slowly but surely over here and I am so excited!
Finally! We have quite a bit and it’s supposed to snow all day. Listening to the avalanche bombing at The Canyons Resort from my desk!
