It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!
I’m pretty excited today, because tomorrow morning, I’ll be hopping a plane to San Francisco! I’ll be spending half of the trip reuniting with girlfriends from college, and the other half with my dear friends, Nancy and Spencer and Syd. I’d love your must-see/must-do/must-EAT recommendations. Help me have a fabulous adventure!
What a lovely, smile-filled week. Take a gander at the little bits of joy from the last seven days!
Tough, teensy flowers that survived a few late snowflakes.
We survived an über-muddy hike- and a porcupine encounter!
I’ve had a serious Stevie Nicks obsession since… before this song came out.
She is absolutely ridiculous. And possibly spoiled.
Blistered garbanzo beans are delicious!
I filled and hung my mod bird feeder! Update: no birds have visited yet.
I added salted peanuts, peanut butter chips, and vanilla chips. Tasty!
Chicken tikka masala for one.
This feather is so beautiful– I want to see the whole bird!
I woke up in a panic that there was no coffee in the house. And found this.
Cholula LOVES her new Puppy Fried Chicken bucket.
She snuggles with it.
No, really. Mama hit it out of the park with this toy!
Vibrant asparagus in springtime- YUM!
Green grass, white SNOW, blue sky. April in Utah.
I cleaned my closet. It makes me anxious when it’s messy.
Crazy tube cloud!
Cholula approves of hot hubby’s new sport coat. (Mama does, too.)
Pretty sure I read this during a snowstorm.
Her other favorite toy is the FOX.
It was one of her very FIRST toys!
A taco and salsa party from Lone Star Taqueria. SO GOOD.
The ski runs have new snow on them, but most of the resorts are closed!
Spring cleaning the garage meant moving the toys out of the way.
It’s SUPER organized and tidy now!
She avoided eye contact, but her nose gave her away. Little digger.
Fiery sunset.
The first homemade sorbet of the season: strawberry coconut!
I made John breakfast with this rainbow of goodness.
I fried my first eggs.
I put my new garden tools to good use and weeded one day. ALL day.
Look what I found during garage clean-up! Can I borrow a tape-player?
I LOVE when she does this. Super-pup!
I found drawings from a 4-year old in my wallet. I kept them there.
Cholula sniffed around the free-for-all box at the dog park.
Oh! I made yummy shrimp risotto! I’ll tell you about it next week.
Ranunculus is my new favorite flower. Stunning!
And… cuteness overload with a tiny Cholula video!
You know. Just the usual bliss.
