It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday!
Tomorrow is the last day of February. Even though I sort of think the groundhog LIED this year, Spring will eventually find its way back to Park City! Here’s a handful of things that kept me smiling through the cold this week.
Sometimes you need a little Ben Harper.
Beauty in my wine glass.
Hello, fancy bubbly drink.
A packed house for the Banff Film Festival.
Post-festival libation.
I love everything about all of this.
Old friends, reunited!
I pulled out this classic family portrait for Instagram‘s Throwback Thursday. LOVE.
Snow beard!
I find this house in my ‘hood to be quite charming in wintertime.
Plum sauce was a revelation in these hot wings.
Snow and sky.
My friend Julie made me a jalapeno margarita. Tasty!
My curry chicken salad was scrumptious wrapped up with some arugula!
Lap dog!
I wanted to put this glass octopus in my purse. (I didn’t.)
Scallops in yellow curry with edamame fried rice. YUM!
I really do have a lovely view from the porch.
A spicy rainbow.
Out of 942 toy options, she brought me a tiny duck head to play with.
You know. Just the usual bliss.

I love the last one! Sometimes Loca will bring me a q-tip to play fetch with.
That is beyond adorable. Why do they DO that? So cute!!
I LOVE the Banff Film Festival! I’m going on Friday here in Denver, can’t wait! I love cheese too, that made me happy 🙂
We love it, too! It has been an annual event for us for many years, but had missed it for the last couple of years. We caught the final evening of films and it was amazing, as always.
I love cheese! And, you’re right that damn groundhog rodent lied… we’ve still got over a foot of snow on the ground… sorry I’m a little cranky about this cold weather.
I knew moving up here that winter would be longer… Stay positive, stay positive… I’m ready for a bit of warmth!
Love Ben Harper. Isn’t he just the best?
I find him to be quite handsome. I may or may not have a thing for musicians. That song is sad but lovely.
Oh, he’s definitely handsome. Have you heard his new stuff with Charlie Musselwhite? I quite like it.
I will have to check it out!
I don’t always have the time to come back and comment (or even like!) your posts, but I do, I DO like them. All of them. Reading in my email client is all I have these days. So busy… 😦
I can imagine how busy you are!! I’m happy you find time to read, even in your little pockets of free time!
That view! Gorgeous. Love your lap dog, as usual 🙂
I really hope she’s done growing.
