Two nights ago, I dreamed about a big bowl of rich, chocolate ice cream. (Having weird dreams is a pregnancy symptom I didn’t know about.) Parts of the dream were a tad stressful, because there were limited toppings and other people were grabbing them for their ice cream before me. In the end, I sprinkled oats (?), whole roasted peanuts, and chocolate sprinkles in the shapes of stars all over my treat before diving in with a large, shovel-like spoon. The ice cream concoction was unusual and delicious, which is sort of how I’d describe my life right now. We’ve entered the glorious fall season here in Park City and our life has slipped into a comfortable routine: post-summer, pre-holidays. But there’s nothing routine about growing a baby- it’s keeping us on our toes! Every moment is unusual and delicious. Take a peek at some of the happy moments over the last week or so.

I never had any weird pregnancy dreams. I always felt a little cheated.
