Each week, I browse through recent photos and take a moment to remember all of the little things that made me smile during those seven days. I like to share them here. Once you start looking for the good stuff, you realize it’s everywhere… Take a peek.
Pancetta ears.
Sneaking a smooch in the sunshine.
Mesmerizing.
I’m putting together a post on how we eat when we camp. YUM!
Desert doggie smile at McCoy Flats.
I can’t believe this was our sunset view from camp!
The outdoor grill is officially open for the season! Maple-dijon pork chops.
John caught this sunrise from the porch. (I was in dreamland.)
Windows down, singing along…
I’ve been hiking on the trails right behind our house. Here’s the view!
These teeny beauties are all over the back hill.
A happy mid-hike rest.
I love seeing how each painting differs in our Tuesday Art Club each week.
Every single morning.
One year ago, Nancy and Leslie were in town for Pond-Skimming at the Canyons!
Two years ago, we were crawling all over warm desert rocks in Southern Utah.
Three years ago, we were settling into new furniture and mini-Cholula was figuring out her ears.
Four years ago, I was watching mama humpbacks teach their babies to breach in Mexico.
Five years ago, Ali was in town! We look like babies.
And last night, we received the mother of all thank you notes. #NYCbagelparty
You know. Just the usual bliss.

Yay for Bliss Bits! About your Tuesday Art Club… where do you get the painting ideas and techniques? I’ve been doing a lot of acrylic painting at a local paint-and-sip shop and I’m feeling confident enough to start trying things for myself at home, but it would be nice to have a starting point.
We have been searching for tutorials online and following along during our two hours. Try googling or searching you tube for Will Kemp or Ginger Cook Live. There are a lot of options once you find stuff you like!
Awesome! Thanks for the tip! 🙂
Lovely! I look forward to your camp-cooking post!
I love the posts
