It’s BLISS BITS Wednesday Thursday!
I apologize for the radio silence this week. We were gallivanting around Montana for most of it! A couple of sunburns and some mosquito bites later, we’re home- and I have a chance to reflect on all of the little happy things from the last seven days. Look!
Cholula helped me pack for the trip.
The yard and garden are going off! Update tomorrow.
Typical road trip.
Love this old truck from the Fishmore Lodge!
The Mountain Market and Deli in Island Park makes THE best sandwiches.
We arrived at our hosts’ home in Bozeman in time for sunset.
Their fabulous chicken coop made me want a flock of our own even more!
The walls of wine at Plonk.
Happy birthday, Spencer!

No cooking after a road trip! We tried the new restaurant in the ‘hood instead. Yum!
Cholula is happy to be back in our own bed. Sorry, HER bed.
Today is the happiest day.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
(Stay tuned for a proper Montana trip recap later in the week!)
I notice that hot sauce is called Cholula!
You know it!
This looks like a most amazing trip. I want to dive into the gorgeous turquoise waters of that lake, like right now! You know, it’s funny, because we just returned from a big international trip, and while we were there (and before) we got hooked on watching the Discovery Channel’s “America” series. (If you haven’t watched it, you must!) Remembering that there are so many amazing sights to see within the U.S. and how tiring traveling internationally can be, I’m hoping to prioritize trips within the country for the next few years. It’s just more relaxing when you don’t have to deal with time zones and passports! And, there is so much to see and do here, and it’s all within a few days’ drive! I’m adding Montana to my must-see list. Thanks for the inspiration!
Kate, do you mean “North America” narrated by Tom Selleck? We are kind of obsessed with it- we live in an incredible part of the world! If you ever head to Montana, I have lots of things to suggest. 🙂
Yes! (Duh.) I love that it’s narrated by Tom Selleck.
Oh man, there’s a reason it’s called Big Sky Country, eh?! So gorgeous! Love the old barns with the wood piles. You have the coolest adventures, Amber!
This was one for the books. I’ll recap for real in a day or two- so many photos!
Oh my goodness, what an amazing trip that was! I just want to hang out with you! Haha! Gorgeous photos as usual.
Thank you! It’s kind of easy to take great photos in a place like Montana! 🙂
