I’m a total softie.
When asked, it’s hard for me to pick favorites because someone is always left out. Someone’s feelings are hurt. Poor Mr. Second Place! Let me recount the votes, see if there was a mistake… or at least give you a BIG HUG.
On Tuesday, I posted my Lucky 7 Shots as part of the HostelBookers 7 Super Shots event. I was asked to select photos of my own that:
- Take my breath away.
- Make me laugh.
- Make me dream.
- Make me think.
- Make my mouth water.
- Tell a story.
- And one I’m most proud of.
As I mentioned then, I peeled through over 15,000 photos. After choosing only seven, that left behind a lot of LOSERS.

Amazing photographs! The first one that made me smile with delight was the one of the caterpillar. And the one two down from it, with the river and the sunset coming through the tree, was just picture perfect! The bicylce covered in snow made me feel sad. lol.

I can’t believe I narrowed it down to 30-something photos for the runners-up! We saw so many beautiful areas last summer!
