My folks are headed to Park City!
I’ve been very lucky in the Parent Department. They are fun, intelligent, generous, loving people. They are celebrating 40 years of marriage this year. How awesome is that? (Sounds like a good reason for bubbly, too!)
As a group, our family is kind of… a lot. We get loud. We do stuff as a pack. We play games. We get competitive. We know this about ourselves, and we can’t help it. We kind of come on like a freight train. Any newcomer who wants to stand a chance had better buckle up and just jump on into the madness with us. Wallflowers kind of get left by the wayside.
My folks love John, and he loves them. And I love that. We’ve only got two days together on this trip, but I’m sure it will be fun. There will be good food. And happy hour ‘toddies.’ And laughing. There won’t be a break from each other until they leave on Sunday. And that’s ok.
It’s kind of how we roll. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Stay tuned for a family fun recap!

I can sympathize with “loud” family time. I think people hate us at restaurants.
Yes. Any public place, really. Particularly after a cocktail or two. I love it though. Strength in numbers, right?
I love that tub! Every time I see it I get a little more jealous. It’s great to see how really big it is with adults it, though the baby pictures were priceless. Have fun with your p’s!
