Since the beginning of July, we’ve spent a total of four days in our own bed. After two (very fun) back-to-back road trips, we’re regrouping and becoming reacquainted with our normal summertime life at home: farmers market treasures, local wildflower-filled hikes, dog-diving at the creek down the road, long days spent with good friends, outdoor concerts, and cocktails on the patio. I’ll share our fabulous trip to Bear Valley later this week. Until then, here’s a batch of my little happy things lately!
This one has a pretty good life.
Nacho Mama!
EEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Apparently, I have strong Greek roots.
Front yard bliss.
What a beautiful evening in Jackson this was.
The Salt Flats in Utah’s West Desert are pretty incredible.

We left Reno $230 richer!
I love these hanging chairs.
Pinecones are BIG in the Sierras!
Queen of the Pines on her throne.
Serious conversations with Teddy and Fisher.

How fun are these lights in the Bear Valley Lodge?
Bloody Maries and World Cup soccer.

One year ago, we were boogie-ing with David Byrne at Red Butte Garden.
Two years ago, my brother was in town. I love cooking with him! We made tacos.
Three years ago, John and I climbed Clayton Peak and this was our reward.
Four years ago, we went to see Paul McCartney with this many people.
And this morning, Cholula took me on a lovely hike.
You know. Just the usual bliss.
One year ago: My love affair with Montana continues.

Your pup in that 1st photo is so HAPPY and BLISSED OUT – Cute 🙂 Loving your captures – thanks so much for sharing. Happy Hump Day!
She is often in some kind of position similar to that! Spoiled and happy! Happy Hump Day to you.
Wonderful Bliss Bits! It’s so funny that I seem to be going to all the concerts you’ve attended. I remember when you posted about seeing Steve Marting and the Steep Canyon Rangers and I saw them for the 4th of the July. Now I see you’ve seen Paul McCartney and I’m about to see him next month. Great taste, Amber! 😉
That would be Steve Martin and not Marting. Sometimes, I just type too fast.
That’s so funny! Steve Martin was simply delightful and I just LOVE that he rips the banjo. We have a handful of concerts coming up this year- I wonder which of ours will overlap!
Wasn’t he amazing?! I absolutely loved his mad skills. I really can’t wait to see Paul McCartney. Everyone I know who has seen him has said it was the best concert of their life.
When THAT many people are singing along to every song, he’s done something right….!
Great captures, Amber!
The doggy with the puppies..awww!!! Precious!
